some scrapbooking pages...

I decided to take the year (2007) off from scrapbooking - so now I have some catching up to do. I have been spending much of my free time (actually - I don't think I really have free time - just time - in which I should be doing other things!) trying to catch up!
Here are a few pages of my sweet boys...clever cameronsweet reagan

saying goodbye to President Gordon B. Hinckley

"You will come to know that what appears today to be a sacrifice, will prove instead to be the greatest investment that you will ever make." - Gordon B. Hinckley

My life has been blessed because of the many sacrifices he has made.

I will miss our dear prophet.

a fun day to share

24 years ago the Miller family moved to Petaluma, California. That was where I met Joeinne. It didn't take us long to realize that we had the same birthday, which (of course) made us BFF. I am not saying that we didn't have our share of teenage fights, but having the same birthday made us just a little bit cooler - almost like being twins. We have moved our separate ways, but not a birthday goes by without me thinking of you - Happy Birthday Joeinne!!

"thats my number"

Wesley loves the letter "w"! It was one of the first letters he recognized and for awhile now, every time he sees one he says "that's my number". On Monday it was snowing, which usually isn't that big of a deal for me (because ever since Bill got his 4 wheeler with the snow plow on it, he has been more than happy to shovel the driveway - boys and their toys!) On this particular day Bill had an early morning meeting and was going to be gone all day - so it was left to me. Unfortunately I have never learned how to drive the 4 wheeler (my bad), so I had to actually use the shovel!! I was seeing a pattern forming in my chaos of shoveling and decided to make Wesley a "w". He was so excited to see it, he even put on some pants for the picture (over his shorts - and took the pants off the minute he got back in the house). The excitement lasted for about an hour, until someone came over a drove over it. He quickly responded that I needed to make him another one, but I reminded him, that we already had a picture! I am very thankful we got a picture when we did because I can barely move my arms as it is!

here we go...

so my first post...what to do...what to say???
My kids are my life (or at least one of the best parts)
so I will dedicate my first entry to one of them.
You know how when your kid is being SO cute - doing the cutest things - and the house is actually picked up - what do you do??? Grab the camera. We were having a particular moment like this. Chase who is 20 months, does not know how (or chooses not to) walk. When he feels like it he will practice with Bill and I. That is what was happening a few nights ago..he was taking a few steps (and was fresh out of the tub - which means he actually had a clean face)! We have yet to get a step on film, so I rushed to get my camera. It took about 20 tries to get it to open (which is another story about another kid - any guesses??). I finally got it to open and Chase (who is often labeled as the sweetest) refused to take another step - or even smile! In fact once he noticed the camera in my hand, all he would do was give me dirty looks!

before noticing the camera
say cheese?

did I mention he thought this was all really funny!!
